About WE-DESIGNS.ORG

ORIGINS: Established in 2003, and officially launched as a collective in 2008, WE-DESIGNS.ORG is currently an international multi-disciplinary creative group. As a developmental and collaborative team of creatives (architectural + design) individuals, all our designs are established within the international standard, detailed orientated, quality within multiple design functions, but not limited to: sound design, interactive installation, architectural, urban planning, and research-based design schemes. Interested in the emergent, interactive, and progressive/dynamic investigation of architecture + design within the urban city, and the common interest within the realm of "sound" and "noise" research, the WE-DESIGNS.ORG 「Team」 members are composed of an international base of ingénue designers from distinctive backgrounds + multifaceted design fields, which hence produce a differentiated approach to the integral design within a project.

Biographical:

WE-DESIGNS.ORG is originally founded by Wendy W Fok, winner of the Hong Kong Young Design Talent Award 2009, has a Masters of Architecture and Certification of Urban Policy/Regional Planning from Princeton University’s School of Architecture. Fok has an international vocational and educational background from New York, London, Paris, Tokyo, Beijing, Vienna, and Canada. Fok’s design methods work towards investigations of contextual and content-related natures that challenges the dynamic significance in structuring and mapping the ideals of art, architecture and urbanism in the current trend of creating sustainable planning, material research, and alternative methods of fabrication with progressive designs within the built environment.
