About Pekka Salokannel

As a designer my passion is to find new possibilities to create interesting products. Interesting can vary a lot: Once it's a new form, other time it's just a fresh material for old product. Somehow I want to design products that also have a fashion statement. I haven't got answer for that yet - maybe I'll never do. But as long it will give pleasure for audience, it gives pleasure for me. My biggest passion in product design is wristwatches. Even though I'm a industrial designer, I've also fascinated soft goods as well. Bags, Backpacks, belts, hats, jeweleries, etc. Well, you could say hard fashion.
