About Dan Hilldrup

I want to create design that is beautiful, fit for purpose, and that adds benefit, or otherwise enriches the life of the end-user. I am inspired by technology [generative/parametric design/Rapid Manufacture, a pencil/pad] necessity being the mother of invention, the conflicting worlds of minimalist and complex freeform design, anatomy-biology and naturally occurring non-periodic pattern and form, photography, architecture, music, coffee and moments of creation.

Biographical:

Im a MA designer graduated from the Sir John Cass School of Art, Media and Design at the East London Metropolitan University in 2009 and have a degree in Computing [2002]. I am interested in furniture, product and lighting design and the utilisation of digital tools to achieve this.
