3D Printed Fashion Awards 2011, designed by FOC & ATN

    Freedom Of Creation teamed up with Atelier Ted Noten, to create the Dutch Fashion Awards for the second year in a row. Special attention was given to the Mercedes sponsored award, the 3d printed design incorporates the well known Mercedes Star. For the awards Freedom Of Creation made use of their well known 3D textile chains combined with items representing each of the 5 prize categories.

    Brian Garret designs the Frame Rate Fest Awards

    Freedom Of Creations’ designer Brian Garret has created a series of 3D printed awards for the Frame Rate Fest Contest. In collaboration with communication agency These Days, a series of 4 personalized awards were made to celebrate the following winners:

    - Chopper by Giel Berkers
    - Rainbow Ride by Remco van den Brink
    - Triangularity by Michel Ypma
    - Amazing Maze by Mike & Paul

    The Frame Rate Fest was organised to create attention for newly launched Internet Explorer 9 browser by Microsoft, each participant had to create their own frame, filled with interactive – slightly geeky – web stuff. (more…)

    Freedom Of Creation enters customization with Kickstarter

    In collaboration with electronics accessories brand Fresh Fiber design agency Freedom Of Creation has launched an initiative to bring a new breed of iPad cases to the market, unlike anything injection molding has ever seen.

    Not only are all products in this range of iPad cases produced with 3D printing, they can be customized in 3D by their owner with for example text, logo’s, name’s or icons, each and every product will be a one-off piece.

    We’re using the social funding platform Kickstarter to make this a reality, with your help, we hope to raise $20.000 to start the production of customized 3D printed design.

    3D printing industry supports fight against cancer

    Freedom Of Creation designer Brian Garret has designed a 3D printed clip, a giveaway for the upcoming Alpe d’Huzes cycle event. Alpe d’Huzes is a Dutch initiative in which hundreds of people cycle up the Alpe d’Huez mountain to collect sponsor money to fight cancer.

    Each of the more than 3000 participants has to cycle up at least 6 times, which is nearly impossible since the climb up the mountain -being part of the Tour the France- is a very tough track. This annual event, first organized in 2006, brought up a mere 5,7 million Euro last year.
