From NASDAQ to New York Stock Exchange…

Executives and guests of 3D Systems Corporation visited the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) to celebrate the company’s transfer to the NYSE from NASDAQ and hold an investor day event at the NYSE. In honor of the occasion, President and Chief Executive Officer Abe Reichental rang The Opening Bell.

A line up of 3D Systems executives who were brave enough to acquire Freedom Of Creation on 12.5.2011 :-) By acquiring Freedom Of Creation, 3D Systems has now gained a leading role in the market for 3D printed consumer design products.

Jan Kochanski wins FOC Talents competition 2011-Q1

For the 2011-Q1 bracelet competition we have received a broad range of high quality entries. The jury consisting of Bart Ruijpers (Product Design Director of Karim Rashid), Frederik Roijé and good-old Janne Kyttanen have selected ‘Spring bracelet’ by Jan Kochański as best design of this competition.

This is what the jury had to say about ‘Spring bracelet’:

“The design has an elegant complexity, in which we can see a similarity to the sensual and ornamental works of Karim, yet with a personal interpretation. The functionality of the stretching spring is nicely ‘hidden’ in the overall design and a good way to take advantage of the properties of the material and manufacturing method.”

Vivid Blue Macedonia Space Dividers for RI3K in London

Leading UK Interior Design company Margolis Office Environment applies Freedom Of Creations’ Macedonia Space Divider for the interior of the brand new RI3K office in the centre of London.


Margolis created a new and exciting environment for RI3K staff of 80 in the newly renovated 1960s office building, located at Dashwood House at 69 Old Broad Street.

The open plan area has the best use of natural light, by creating a bespoke breakout area with comfortable lounge and effective yet see through divisions with the Macedonia Panels this lightness translates trough the whole space. READ ON

Brian Garret designs the Frame Rate Fest Awards

Freedom Of Creations’ designer Brian Garret has created a series of 3D printed awards for the Frame Rate Fest Contest. In collaboration with communication agency These Days, a series of 4 personalized awards were made to celebrate the following winners:

- Chopper by Giel Berkers
- Rainbow Ride by Remco van den Brink
- Triangularity by Michel Ypma
- Amazing Maze by Mike & Paul

The Frame Rate Fest was organised to create attention for newly launched Internet Explorer 9 browser by Microsoft, each participant had to create their own frame, filled with interactive – slightly geeky – web stuff. READ ON

Julian Sing creates stunning 3D printed Marine Models

During the past couple of months Freedom Of Creation has been producing some high-end 3D printed marine models for established companies such as Sealevel and start-up companies like Wi Dizyn.

Our expertise in design for 3D printing allows us to make up to 85% of the models with the different 3D printing techniques.
